THE CAMPING SITE Location & Directions Price List Units Kiosk & Reception Camp regulations About Lyngstrand Home COMMUNICATION USEFUL LINKS |
As a guest at
Lyngstrand, you will enjoy a pleasant break from everyday life. For this
reason, we don’t want the first thing you see to be an extensive list
of do’s and don’ts. This of course does not mean that you can do
whatever you wish. Rather it means that each of us has a personal
responsibility to make sure conditions are pleasant by showing
consideration for others and by keeping the area tidy. The regulations
for camping sites are listed below, and are also on the wall at
reception. These are the rules that apply unless something else has been
agreed. In a camping
site a lot of people are confined to a limited space. They have
different habits, and this is precisely one of the things that is so
fascinating and exciting about camping. But it also means that one must
abide by certain rules, to avoid inconveniencing others. For guests with
a season or one-year pass, there are some additional rules (see special
section). 1. Guests
register at the reception on arrival. Identification is to be presented
upon request. Payment is usually done on arrival, unless otherwise
agreed. 2. Guests are
to comply with the staffs’ directions, and make themselves familiar
with the guidelines and other instructions (fire, fishing etc). 3. Only camping
equipment of a certain type and size may be used without a special
permit. The same goes for extra equipment for tents, caravans and mobile
homes such as fences and platforms etc. There must be no digging in the
ground. 4. Dogs are to
be kept on a leash and preferentially walked outside of the camping
area. Dog-pooh bags must always be used within the camping area. 5. Rubbish,
waste water and inflammable materials are to be disposed of at the
designated area. Guests must ensure this place stays clean and tidy.
Special concern must shown for the drinking water sources. 6. Dangerous
and unnecessary loud activities are prohibited within the camping site.
Movement of motorized vehicles is to be at walking pace and kept to a
minimum. 7. Between
11.00am and 07.00pm the area must be quiet – in or outgoing traffic is
ordinarily not permitted in this period. 8. Sales of
commodities or services is not permitted without the staffs’ consent. 9. Guests who
don’t abide by instructions, act offensively or disturb the peace and
quiet, will be required to leave, if necessary with the aid of the
police. 10. The camping
site cannot accept any responsibility for the guests’ private
belongings. Compensation will be paid by the person responsible. 11. The camping unit (place or room) is to be left clean and tidy by 1.00 pm on the day of departure, if nothing else has been previously agreed.
