The smales cabin and the main house

About the camping site:

This spacious and clean site is secluded by natural vegetation.

 Within the approx. 4 acres camping site there is room for about 100 units – caravans, tents and mobile homes. A large number of people hire their camping place on a yearly basis, and another section is reserved other guests.

There are 4 cabins of varying size and standard (read more about these on Units).

Arranged activities:

-         attractive beach-area with swimming.

-         fishing in Randsfjorden and in nearby lakes and rivers.

-         exercise and walking paths in the immediate vicinity.

-         rent a rowing boat.

-         playground for the young ones, badminton /volleyball net and football pitch.

Campingliv

For the children:

There are a lot of families with children who stay with us, and there are many ways to keep them busy. Cycling is one option. Fishing is popular for all ages! The football pitch on the camping is also used a lot. For the youngest ones there is a playground with a slide and swings, and the sandpit is very popular. On the hottest days the beach with a jetty definitely wins the most attention among all age groups.

 

Animal life:

Lyngstrand is an animal-friendly camping site. In addition to the many dogs that guests bring, there are currently five cats (named Nora, Lillemor, Krølle, Rødreven and Signe). We have previously had both rabbits, lambs and geese.

Easter Eve

 Activities:

Through the year we arrange a number of activities.

At Easter we have a treasure hunt, barbecue sausages on a large bonfire, we announce the winner of the Easter Day treasure hunt. 

We also hold a summer party with beer, wine, food and usually lots of music and fun.

On Midsummer’s Eve we light a huge bonfire and barbecue.
